I finally put my profile up on my website. I don't know what else I'm going to put up there, but I definitely have to get workin on my Flash intro... majiger. Blah.

Blah, I haven't even started my brother's report yet. But here's my planned agenda:

1. Start and finish my brother's 3-page report/essay
2. At least finish three sections of website [profile, links and.... something else]
3. Finish reading Huckleberry Finn and prepare for oral presentation.

Ugh. I am such a procrastinator. And I'm sure you're probably asking why I'm doing my brother's homework so willingly.... he said he would give me $20 if I did it, so yeah. I'm a pretty good at writing essays... the only hard part is internal documentation and looking for all those quotes and crap from the characters in order to prove your thesis and form a conclusion. Writing an essay to me can be comparible to my entire way of going on through life: Making the thesis and the pre-writing stuff is quite easy---and it's really fun to plan out what you're going to write; not only because of its lack of actual research [yet] but due to the feeling of pre-accomplishment that you get when you plan something. For example, you say that you're going to do all this stuff... yadda yadda yadda, feel all smart and hyped up because the aftermath---the conclusion, offers that relief and accomplishment of a finished product. Before you do something, you think about the accomplishments of the project itself--rather than the actual work. BUT when you get to the work itself, the difficulty/dullness of it makes you slack of and procrastinate. Such as what I am doing right now. When my brother offered me the twenty dollars and handed me the worksheet containing my choice of questions, I got all happy because:

1. It will give me a chance to go back to the happy writing days of the 9th grade. My teacher was a complete hyperactive prep, but the stuff we did was really fun. I get to go back to the memories of read this book, and I also get to exercise my writing ability, give it to someone totally unworthy and have HIM take credit for what I did. Then, I started thinking about how I should do a crappy or a "decent" job writing his report, but still get that twenty dollars. But then, what good will that do for me, other than the "Haha, I fooled you" feeling of trickery and superiority. *pause* Fuck. I forgot what I was about to say after that... I became too pre occupied choosing a song from my 1,500+ songlist on Winamp and this rock music is... killed.. ing... brain. cells.

I'm hopeless

After I blog this, I am going to do my brother's homework for college. Now.. I don't know what kind of English class he's taking, but it is somewhat similar to my English class back in the seventh grade. *ahem* This "essay-like" homework thing only requires you to answer ONE question of twelve, and continue your explanation/whatever for three pages; double spaced. WTF. I don't even think you need a freaking thesis or conclusion for most of these questions. Lame.

Anywho, here are the choices:

1. Write a compare and contrast paper of Scout and Mayella.
2. Write a compare and contrast paper of Miss Maudie and Mrs. Dubose.
3. Write an analysis of the frequent mention of particular flowers in the the novel. With whome are these flowers associated, and how? In each case, what meaning do the flowers seem to have?
4. Write a compare and contrast paper of Aunt Alexandra and Miss Maudie.
5. Analyze the three main characters: Atticus, Scout and Jem. Are they round or flat? Discuss and justify your position on each character.
6. How might Atticus Finch define a "higher civilization"?
7. Scout decides to spend time with two women who seem to become her models of womanhood. THey are Miss Maudie and Calpurnia rather than Aunt Alexandra. Analyze and speculate about why she chooses these two women rather than the models of "proper" womanhood, Aunt Alexandra and the missionary ladies.
8. Some have said the the setting of To Kill a Mockingbird is so vivid that it can stand as an actual character in the book. Explore this idea and develop it, using specific examples.
9. What is your point of view about the role of the "colored housekeeper"? These women usually played essential roles in the "white family" for whom they worked. Discuss and develop this statement.
10. IN the 1930's, a famous "rape case" went to trial called the Scottsboro Trial. This trial involved nine men who were black and the word of a white prostitute who was caught breaking a law. Research and discuss this historical debacle of justice.
11. Discuss the frequent use of censorship used on To Kill a Mockingbird, and explore the censorship in general, using historical, moral and ethical points of view.
12.Calpurnia's opportunity to learn was an exception and not the rule. Elaborate. Research and discuss segregation in the Jim Crow south.

Hmm. I read this book approximately an entire year ago, back in the ninth grade. I can vividly remember important events, morals and other crap that Mrs. Heskett explained so clearly to everyone. I'm thinking of choosing number 6, How might Atticus Finch define a "higher civilization". Blah, I should just get working on it instead of procrastinating and Blogging around.... :P

While I was folding my laundry, I remembered that moment at Ray's house when me, Ray and Liang were sitting on his diningroom table. We were looking at Ray's drawing of Liang, and I was all playing around with the clothes on the table. While I was doing that, Liang told me that those were his clothes or somethin' and I was like.. "yeah, yeah" while he was saying it. I see this white piece of cloth.. started messing around with it, and lifted it up in the air with my hands. I realized what it was [Liang's briefs] and was like, "Ahhh!" and threw it back on the table.

HELLA FUNNY ASS MOMENT.

I was hecka laughing and walked over to the futon where Brad and Josh were and laughed some more. hahahaha. Liang was all, "Dude, I told you not to play with that" errrrr somethin' and Ray was all, "Why did you put your underwair on the dining table, anyways?" lol. I was just crackin' up.... XD XD XD

If you noticed, I was experimenting with Blogger and seeing if I could succeed on putting it into my new website. That stupid banner really bothered me, and Pitas.com is nothing like Blogger... so I decided to keep my Blogger on a seperate window and keep it in a different layout from my website. I realized my mistakes while re-making the old Blogger layout and laughed. ^^;;;

I need to make a new theme for my Blogger. *yawn* I don't know what it will be just yet, though. Blah... and I most likely won't do it today, because I'm just too lazy. I don't even know if I'll end up adding anything onto my plain website. ~_~
